By downloading or using Nós ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of Nós, including visitors and registered account holders.
Nós is a Catholic prayer app that guides users through 9-day prayer cycles (novenas). The App is provided by Carter Shannon ("we," "us," or "our") for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Parents or guardians who permit their children to use the App are responsible for their use.

The novena prayer texts included in Nós are sourced from Fisheaters.com with express written consent from the owner of that website. These texts are provided for personal prayer and devotional use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used outside of the App without authorization.
All copyright inquiries related to the novena prayer texts must be directed to the owner of Fisheaters.com at www.fisheaters.com. We do not hold the copyright to these prayer texts and cannot grant permissions on behalf of their owner.
The App's user interface, design, AI-generated reflections, and all original content created by Carter Shannon are the intellectual property of Carter Shannon and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Nós is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content in the App.
Nós is a prayer companion tool and is not a substitute for spiritual direction, counseling, or any other professional service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carter Shannon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings › Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and all your data will be removed from our servers.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, without prior notice.
We may send you occasional emails about new novenas, app features, and updates. These emails are optional — you can opt in during sign-up or at any time from Settings › Communications. You can opt out at any time through the same Settings toggle or by contacting us directly.
We will always send transactional emails necessary for your account (e.g., password reset). These cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and posting a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
